                    Cost estimator

Main missions :
The cost estimator works with the sales department to estimate the technical costs of a project. For this purpose :

he draws up the technical study of a project based on a file and preliminary drawings and settles for each item the necessary financial means,
he consults the suppliers and sub-contractors.

The Project office Engineer designs the structure and the dimensions from elements supplied by the Architect, the associated master builder or the customer.

He gives the cost department all necessary elements for estimating the work and suggests possible alternative solutions in close collaboration with the head of sales.

The Methods Engineer works, after the contract is signed, jointly with the Work Team for carrying out the project :

he chooses and specifies the operational procedures for the construction whilst meeting the hygiene and safety regulations,
he determines the necessary means in men and equipment,
he draws up the works schedule.

Qualifications required :
Schools of Engineering and University diplomas.

Qualities and skills necessaries :
Rigour, creativity, ability to listen to people, common sense and a critical mind
